Gattas Plaza shines with solar

GCI Partnership, owner of Gattas Plaza shopping

center, has recently installed a 50-kw photovoltaic solar

system on the roof of Knowledge Tree at 5000 Summer.

The system features high-powered modules made by

Georgia-based based Suniva Inc.

Inman Solar-Memphis was selected to engineer and

integrate the solar solution for GCI.

The project utilized all local engineers, contractors and

labor to complete the system, which will generate

enough electricity to power more than five homes and

reduce carbon emissions equivalent to removing eight

cars from the road.
